Roger Federer takes on Grigor Dimitrov in the 2018 ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament final in Rotterdam on Sunday - and we’ve got all the stats, numbers, quotes and previous head-to-head meetings ahead of the blockbuster showdown!

The first ATP 500 final of the season sees World No. 1 in-waiting Roger Federer come up against World No. 5 Grigor Dimitrov as the Swiss legend looks to cap a historic week in Rotterdam by claiming a 97th career title.

Federer of course will officially become the oldest World No. 1 in history when the new rankings are released on Monday, with the 37-year-old continuing to shatter records just three years shy of his 40th birthday. Standing in Federer’s way of a second title of 2018 is Dimitrov, who has to overturn a daunting 0-6 H2H record against the Swiss in order to capture a first ATP 500 title since Acapulco in 2014.

Quotes ahead of ATP Rotterdam final

Federer

“I’m good, it's not been a tough week physically, maybe a bit harder emotionally. I hope to play one more good match and that's it for the week. I know Grigor well, he had an incredible year last season; winning London and Cincinnati is next-level.
“This has to be a week where he wants to win this tournament. I'll try my best and hope it's enough.”

Dimitrov

“Of course my goal is to win and at the same time make sure I raise the bar even higher. In order for me to do that I need to keep on going in the same way I’ve been practicing and preparing.”
