Djokovic v Molcan live stream and match preview | 2021 Belgrade Open final

Novak Djokovic and Alex Molcan will square off in the final of the Belgrade Open from 1pm BST on Saturday.

After an unconvincing performance yesterday, Novak Djokovic is now one step closer to his first trophy on clay surface of the year. Nole has dropped a set against Andrej Martin yesterday, which was for the first time since 2018 when he lost a set against an outside top-100 player. Novak will now face another player from the qualifying stages in the shape of Alex Molcan.

Alex Molcan fought hard from one set down to beat Federico Delbonis (4-6,6-4,6-4) in 2 hours and 44 minutes. Molcan has now won six games in a row here in Belgrade, having dropped just one set in the process. Prior to this tournament, Molcan had only played two main draw matches on the main tour in his career.

Novak Djokovic should be able to lift the trophy today. Although he dropped a set yesterday, we expect him to do much better today so our prediction is Under 16.5 Games at odds of 5/6.

The match is available to watch live on desktop, mobile or tablet devices in the UK and various other regions worldwide.

Novak Djokovic will be looking to reach his third final of the year today as he takes on Andrej Martin in the Semifinals of the Belgrade Open.

Novak Djokovic had one of the easiest quarterfinal matches in recent times as he demolished Federico Coria 6-1,6-0 yesterday in just 57 minutes. It was Djokovic’s second straight-sets victory in a row here in Belgrade and his 5th win in the last six matches on clay. Nole’s performance on clay hasn’t been great so far this season, but he seems to be in great shape at the moment. He decided to participate here in Belgrade in order to bag his first ATP Tour title of the season.

Andrej Martin is a player that came from the qualifying stages here in Belgrade, which means he is now on a five-game winning streak. Martin looked decent in both his matches in the main draw against Basilashvili and Lajovic, although he dropped a set in each of those matches. Andrej Martin has won seven of his last nine matches on the clay surface. Andrej’s most recent Semi-final match was in Cordoba last year when he lost against Cristian Garin.

Djokovic put in a fantastic display yesterday so we expect another comfortable win here. Our prediction is Under 18.5 games at odds of 1/2.

Novak Djokovic is still looking for his first ATP Tour title on clay this season when he takes on Federico Coria today in Belgrade.

Novak Djokovic’s last ATP Tour title on clay was in Rome last year. Djokovic has won eight of his eleven matches on clay this season, but he has failed to win a single title during this run. He was knocked out in the 2nd round of the Monte Carlo tournament, the 3rd round of the Serbian Open (Belgrade 1), and in the final of the 2021 Rome Masters. He fought well against Nadal in Rome, but the Spaniard played amazingly in the decisive set.

After a couple of struggles over the past two months, Federico Coria has finally managed to secure back-to-back victories on clay. He lost a set against an amateur player in the opening round, but then he did well to win 6-3, 6-2 over Pablo Cuevas in the 2nd round.  This is Coria’s third quarter-final match of the season, having lost in the Concepcion Challenger against Alejandro Tablo and in the Semi-final of the ATP Cordoba at the hands of Juan Cerundolo.

We expect Novak to end the game fast, so our prediction is Under 17.5 games at 6/10.

Jeremy Chardy and Dusan Lajovic will square off in Belgrade today at 14.00 pm (UK Time), with both seeking some consistency on clay.

Jeremy Chardy has played only eight matches on clay this season and won four in the process. He was eliminated in the 2nd round in Monte Carlo, Barcelona, and Estoril and in the opening round in Madrid. Here in Belgrade, Chardy kicked off his campaign with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Tennys Sandgren, which was actually his first straight-sets victory of the season. He is yet to secure back-to-back victories on clay this year, despite competing in four tournaments over the last two months.

Meanwhile, Dusan Lajovic was on a six-game losing streak prior to his 2-0 victory over Ricardas Berankis two days ago. Berankis was knocked out in the opening round of each of the five tournaments he competed in prior to the Belgrade Open. Actually, he has failed to win a single set in the previous three matches on clay before beating Berankis.

Jeremy Chardy has won four of the last five meetings with Dusan Lajovic and we fancy him to secure another victory here at the price of 9/10.

The match is available to watch live on desktop, mobile or tablet devices in the UK and various other regions worldwide.

Fernando Verdasco will be looking for his first win on clay after almost one year when he takes on Lucas Pouille today in Belgrade.

Lucas Pouille has won three and lost three of his only six matches on clay this season. His best performance was in Monte Carlo back in March when he managed to reach the round of 16 before losing to Davidovich Fokina. Pouille has won just one title on clay over the past three years, which was actually a Challenger in Bordeaux back in 2019. In addition, he won just once in the previous three meetings with Fernando Verdasco.

Meanwhile, Fernando Verdasco makes his debut in Belgrade today as he is seeking his first victory of the season. The Spaniard has played just four matches in 2021 and has failed to win a single set in the process. He is winless in six consecutive matches on clay since a 2-0 win over Kovalik back in July 2019.

Both players have struggled for form over the past few years, but to be fair, Lucas Pouille looked decent in Monte Carlo a couple of months ago and we fancy him to win at the price of 4/6.

The match is available to watch live on desktop, mobile or tablet devices in the UK and various other regions worldwide.
