Vesely v Rublev live stream, preview and tips | Dubai Championships 2022 Final

Two in-form players will square off in the final of the Dubai Tennis Championships 2022 on Saturday afternoon, as Jiri Vesely takes on Andrey Rublev.

Jiri Vesely has had a fairytale run here in Dubai this week, having won six matches en route to the final round. Vesely had to play two qualifying matches before entering the main draw and dropped a set in each of them against mediocre opponents in the shape of Habib and Pypyrin.

However, his run in the main draw has been amazing, having beaten the likes of Marin Cilic, Bautista-Agut, Novak Djokovic, and Shapovalov.

Vesely has won two of his previous three main tour finals, against Mannarino in Auckland back in 2015 and Egor Gerasimov in Pune back in 2020.

Meanwhile, Andrey Rublev is currently on an eight-match winning streak after recently winning the Marseille Open a week ago.

Here in Dubai, Rublev hasn’t looked very convincing as he has dropped at least one set in three of his four matches. He is now one match away from winning back-to-back ATP titles for the first time since 2020.

The Russian has played five finals in ATP 500 events so far in his career and won three in the process.

Jiri Vesely might be a bit tired after playing six matches in Dubai this week, while Rublev has dropped a set in each of the previous three rounds. Our prediction is Over 22.5 Games at odds of 4/5 with Bet365.

Vesely v Rublev is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 3.00pm GMT.

Novak Djokovic and Jiri Vesely will go head-to-head in the Quarter-Finals of the 2022 Dubai Tennis Championships on Thursday.

Djokovic started the Dubai 2022 tournament in emphatic fashion by defeating Lorenzo Musetti and Karen Khachanov in straight sets. The Russian fought hard in the second set to take it to a tie break, but it was not enough as Djokovic won it with a 7-2 scoreline.

Djokovic holds the record for most weeks as world number one, but his place at the top is under a big threat at the moment. In order to retain the top spot next week, he needs to do better in Dubai than Medvedev achieves in Acapulco.

Djokovic boasts an impressive 8-1 record in completed Quarter-Final matches here in Dubai.

Vesely has already won four fixtures here in Dubai, including two qualifying matches. In the main draw, Vesely has defeated two solid opponents in the likes of Marin Cilic and Roberto Bautista-Agut.

This is an excellent performance already for Vesely as he was knocked out in the first round in his previous three campaigns here in Dubai.

The interesting fact is that Vesely leads 1-0 in the head-to-heads with Djokovic and our prediction for this clash is Under 20.5 Games at odds of 6/10 with Bet365.

Djokovic v Vesely is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 3pm GMT.

Novak Djokovic and Karen Khachanov will square off in the Second Round of the 2022 Dubai Tennis Championships on Wednesday.

Djokovic has had an impressive 2021 season, having won the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and also reaching the final of the US Open. He ended 2021 with another trophy at the Paris Masters and lead Serbia to the Semi-Finals of the Davis Cup.

Djokovic was unable to compete at the Australian Open this year due to his visa being cancelled, but he looked incredibly strong against Musetti in the opening round here in Dubai. He had not played any competitive match before facing Musetti, but only needed one hour and 15 minutes to defeat the Italian.

In his previous 11 appearances here in Dubai, Nole has won the title on five occasions. In addition, he has never been eliminated from this competition before the quarterfinal stage.

Khachanov, on the other hand, has recently reached the Semi-Finals in Doha where he lost in three sets against the eventual winner, Roberto Bautista-Agut. He needed three sets to defeat Alex de Minaur in the first round here in Dubai, although he looked in complete control after winning the first set.

Karen has had a solid start to 2022 overall, having reached at least the quarterfinal in three of the four ATP tournaments he entered so far.

Djokovic has dominated the previous meetings with Khachanov, having won six of the seven matches between them.

Our best prediction for this match is Under 21.5 Games at odds of 3/4 with Bet365.

Djokovic v Khachanov is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 3pm GMT.

Andy Murray will face 4th seed Jannik Sinner on Wednesday at 10.00am (UK Time) in the 2nd round of the 2022 Dubai Tennis Championships.

After 2 hours and 51 minutes, Andy Murray has finally managed to defeat Australian qualifier, Christopher O’Connell, in the opening round here in Dubai. Andy is yet to get back to his best level since returning from hip surgery, but he looked decent in this early part of the season.

The Brit has only lost five of his 13 matches on hard courts so far this season, with the best result being a runner-up finish in Sydney. Murray has reached at least the quarterfinal in five of his previous six Dubai Tennis Championships campaigns.

Jannik Sinner, on the flip side, has lost just one of nine matches on hard courts this year. He won all three matches at the ATP Cup, but unfortunately, Italy wasn’t able to qualify for the semifinals of the competition. He continued his impressive form with a quarter-final appearance at the Australian Open where he lost in straight sets against Tsitsipas.

Here in Dubai, Sinner faced Davidovich Fokina in the opening round and needed a bit of luck to book his place in the second round. Sinner has lost the first set and was just two return points away from losing the second set in a tiebreak.

Jannik Sinner is the better player here, but he is still recovering from the COVID and he has also made some changes to his coaching team. Therefore, our prediction for this match is Over 21.5 Games at odds of 4/5 with Bet365.

Murray v Sinner is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 10.00am GMT.

In-form Andrey Rublev will take on Daniel Evans in the opening round of the Dubai Championships 2022 on Tuesday at 15.00pm (UK Time).

Daniel Evans had a strong start to the season as he reached the semifinals in Sydney where he lost in three sets against Karatsev. This has been followed by a couple of inconsistent showings at the Australian Open and Doha. Although his defeat against Auger Aliassime at the Australian Open is somehow understandable, his recent loss against a struggling Davidovich Fokina in Doha is not.

The only positive thing is that the Brit has won three of a total of five meetings with Rublev, with the most recent one being in Cincinnati in 2020.

Meanwhile, Andrey Rublev has won nine of his 11 matches on hard courts so far this season. In addition, the Russian comes into this clash full of confidence after an excellent week in Marseille. Rublev has won both singles and doubles titles and he is now aiming for a similar performance here in Dubai.

Rublev has dropped a set in the opening three rounds in Marseille before pulling past Auger-Aliassime in straight sets in the final. It was an act of sweet revenge for Rublev, as he lost the same Auger-Aliassime in the semifinals of Rotterdam just a week before that.

Three of the five meetings between these two players have seen over 2.5 sets. We’re expecting a similar outcome here, so our prediction is Over 2.5 sets at odds of 11/8 with Bet365.

Evans v Rublev is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 3.00pm GMT.

A star-studded field assembles for the 2022 Dubai Tennis Championships, and a live stream is available for all matches.

The Dubai Championships is comprised of both ATP 500 and WTA 500 events and is held on hard court surface at the Aviation Club Tennis Centre.

The women’s tournament will take place from February 14-19 and the men’s tournament from February 21-26.

Aslan Karatsev is the defending men’s champion after he defeated South Africa’s Lloyd Harris in last year’s final, while Garbiñe Muguruza defeated Barbora Krejčíková in the 2021 women’s final.

This tournament marks Novak Djokovic’s first competitive outing since being ruled out of the recent Australian Open due to the cancellation of his visa.

Djokovic has won this title on five previous occasions, most recently in 2020, with only Roger Federer (eight) having enjoyed more success here.

Andrey Rublev is the number two seed, while the likes of Denis Shapovalov, Hubert Hurkacz, Jannik Sinner and Andy Murray also feature.

Aryna Sabalenka is the top seed in the women’s draw and is joined by the likes of Iga Świątek, Ons Jabeur and Paula Badosa.

All matches throughout the tournament will be available to watch live on laptop, mobile and tablet devices in the UK and various other regions worldwide.

Novak Djokovic makes his return to competitive action with a clash against Lorenzo Musetti at the 2022 Dubai Tennis Championships on Monday.

A lot has happened in Djokovic’s life both on and off the court over the past 12 months. The Serbian star picked up three Grand Slams in 2021 and then was denied a chance to go for his 21st major at the Australian Open last month amid a very public fallout.

Rafael Nadal took full advantage of Djokovic’s deportation from Australia and became the first player ever to win 21 Grand Slams.

The main issue is that Nole’s last match was back in November, which means that his current form and level are a mystery. Djokovic is a five-time former champion here in Dubai and he is aiming to protect his place at the top of the ATP Rankings. However, this depends on Daniil Medvedev’s results in Acapulco.

Meanwhile, Musetti had played impressive tennis in the first half of the 2021 season, but everything collapsed after his meeting with Djokovic at the French Open.

The Italian had a two-set lead against Nole, but still wasn’t enough to win the clash. Everything fell apart since then, as Musetti has lost 15 of the last 21 matches on the main tour.

Lorenzo did well to reach the quarter-finals in Rotterdam a fortnight ago but suffered an unexpected loss against Jiri Lehecka.

Our prediction for this match is Under 19.5 Games at odds of 4/5 with Bet365.

Djokovic v Musetti is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 4.30pm GMT.

Andy Murray will take on Christopher O’Connell in the opening round of the 2022 Dubai Tennis Championships on Monday.

Murray looked solid in the opening round in Doha a week ago, but then suffered a humiliating 6-0, 6-1 defeat at the hands of Roberto Bautista-Agut. This was the most severe loss he recorded since 2015 when he faced Djokovic at the Miami Open.

The Brit had a solid start to the season, finishing as runner-up to Karatsev in Sydney. However, he has struggled for consistency since then with three defeats in his last six matches on hard courts. Actually, Murray was knocked out in the second round in each of the most recent three tournaments he competed in.

O’Connell, meanwhile, has lost only four of his 12 matches on hard courts in 2022. He is in decent shape at the moment, but in three of the four tournaments he has played this season, he was knocked out in the opening round. However, the Aussie did well to reach the 3rd round at the Australian Open where he lost in four sets against Cressy.

Here in Dubai, O’Connell did well to win two qualifying games so far, having beaten the likes of Laaksonen and Bhambri without dropping a set.

Murray has enough experience to win this clash, but for a better price, we fancy him to win 2-0 at odds of 11/10 with Bet365.

Murray v O’Connell is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 3pm GMT.
