Rafael Nadal v Cameron Norrie live stream, preview and tips | Mexican Open 2022 Final

Rafael Nadal and Cameron Norrie will square off in the final of the 2022 Mexican Open in Acapulco on Sunday.

Nadal is having an amazing start to the season as he has won all his 15 matches on hard courts so far. The Spaniard started 2022 with a trophy in Melbourne Summer Set and followed that up with his 21st Grand Slam title at the Australian Open.

This week in Acapulco, Nadal has won all his matches in straight sets, including an impressive performance against Daniil Medvedev in the Semi-Finals.

ATP Acapulco has been one of Nadal’s most successful tournaments on hard courts on the main tour. He has won the tournament three times so far and holds a 3-1 record in championship matches.

The most impressive thing is that the Spaniard hasn’t dropped a single set in any of the 24 matches he has won in this tournament.

Meanwhile, Norrie extended his winning streak to eight matches after beating Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets in the semi-finals. He has dropped just two sets in the process and he has recently won the Delray Beach tournament.

The Brit has won two titles in 2021, at Los Cabos and Indian Wells, and also finished as runner-up in San Diego. He has converted just two of his six championship matches on the main tour.

Although Norrie is in excellent form at the moment, we don’t think he can stop Rafa to win his fourth title here in Acapulco. Our prediction is Under 21.5 Games at odds of 9/10 with Bet365.

Nadal v Norrie is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 3am GMT.

Cameron Norrie will be looking for his eighth victory in a row when he takes on Stefanos Tsitsipas in the Semi-Finals of the 2022 Mexican Open on Saturday.

World number four Tsitsipas looked more comfortable in the previous two rounds here in Acapulco after being tested by Laslo Djere in the opening round. In fact, the Greek ace has lost just eight games in his last two matches to reach his third Semi-Final of the season.

The last time when Tsitsipas has won three matches in a row without dropping a set was in Barcelona last April. His best performance here in Acapulco was in his debut campaign back in 2021 when he finished as runner-up to Alexander Zverev.

He will be looking to make amends this season and comes into this Semi-Final clash with a morale boost after the previous two rounds.

Meanwhile, last week’s Delray Beach Open winner Norrie has also had a pretty flawless run here in Acapulco this week. The Brit had a tough match against John Isner in the Second Round, but then demolished Gojowczyk in straight sets(6-1, 6-0) in the Quarter-Finals.

In terms of stats, Norrie’s only previous Semi-Final appearance here in Acapulco ended in a straight-set defeat against Zverev three years ago.

Both players are heading into this clash in good touch and the H2H between these two is tied, although the Greek has won the most recent encounter.

This should be a close contest, so our prediction is Over 22.5 Games at odds of 17/20 with Bet365.

Tsitsipas v Norrie is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 2am GMT.

Daniil Medvedev and Rafael Nadal will square off in an unmissable Semi-Final show-down at the 2022 Mexico Open on Saturday.

The pair met in one of the best final matches in Grand Slam history at the Australian Open only a month ago.

Medvedev will become the world number one in the ATP Rankings on Monday regardless of the outcome of this match, meaning that he is relieved of pressure and anything that he gets from here in Acapulco will be a bonus.

In fact, Medvedev will become the first non ‘big four’ player to reach the top spot in ATP Rankings since Andy Roddick back in 2004.

The Russian had a comfortable run in Acapulco so far this week, winning all three of his matches in straight sets while dropping just 15 games.

Medvedev has been one of the most in-form players in the past two years. However, this will be his first Semi-Final appearance in ATP 500 events since Washington 2019.

Nadal, on the other hand, is currently on a 14-match winning streak and is unbeaten in 2022 so far. He definitely has momentum on his side after winning his 21st Grand Slam at the Australian Open.

Similar to Medevev, Nadal has won all his three matches in Acapulco in straight sets and has only dropped 14 games in the process.

Furthermore, the Spaniard is a three-time former champion of ATP Mexico and he hasn’t lost a single set in his previous four Semi-Finals here.

That being said, these two are the most in-form players of the season so far and we can’t expect any other outcome than an intense battle. Therefore, our prediction is Over 2.5 Sets at odds of 5/4 with Bet365.

Medvedev v Nadal is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 4am GMT.

Rafael Nadal of Spain will take on America’s Tommy Paul in the Quarter-Finals of the 2022 Mexican Open on Friday.

Nadal has extended his winning streak to 13 matches after a comfortable straight sets victory over Kozlov in the previous round here in Mexico. It has been an amazing start of the season for the Spaniard who already won two titles.

In addition, Nadal is a three-time former champion of ATP Acapulco and he has never lost a match in the quarterfinals. He is now searching for a 91st career title, but if he wins this clash he might face Daniil Medvedev in the Semi-Finals.

Nadal has served very well in Acapulco this week and it seems that his game has been firing on all cylinders.

Meanwhile, Paul has also enjoyed a decent year so far, having registered 8 wins in his 12 matches on hard courts. After an impressive First Round win over fifth seed Matteo Berrettini, he followed that up with a deciding set defeat of Dusan Lajovic.

The American should feel confident ahead of this tie as he has already played three quarterfinal matches this year. His best result has been a Semi-Final appearance in the most recent tournament he competed in – Delray Beach Open.

In addition, with his performance this week, Paul has matched his 2020 best performance in Acapulco.

Our prediction for this match is Over 19.5 Games at odds of 5/6 with Bet365.

Nadal v Paul is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 2am GMT.

Watch Nadal v Kozlov in the 2022 Mexican Open live stream on laptop, mobile or tablet devices

Rafael Nadal continues his quest for a fourth ATP Acapulco title with a Second Round tie against Stefan Kozlov.

Nadal etched his name into the tennis record books by securing his 21st Grand Slam title at the Australian Open in Melbourne last month to overtake rivals Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic at the top of the all-time list.

The 35-year-old, who had been out of action since ending his season early in August due to a foot injury, rolled back the years to pull off a stunning success Down Under.

Following wins over Karen Khachanov, Denis Shapovalov, and Matteo Berrettini, Nadal incredibly battled back from two sets down to defeat Daniil Medvedev in a pulsating five-set final.

In doing so, the Spaniard also became only the second man in the Open Era, after Djokovic, to complete the double career Grand Slam.

He is now ranked world number five and will be looking to pick up from where he left off in Australia, starting at the Abierto Mexicano Telcel (ATP Mexico).

Nadal is a three-time winner of the Mexican Open, most recently in 2020, making him the second most successful player in the 29-year history of the tournament.

Nadal, seeded number four, is among a star-studded field for the ATP 500 event on hard court, which includes four of the world’s top five ranked players.

He began his campaign with a routine straight sets win over world number 105 Denis Kudla on Wednesday for the total loss of just five games.

Next up is a tie against America’s Stefan Kozlov – one of three ‘Lucky Losers’ in the competition – who enjoyed an impressive three-set scalp of Grigor Dimitrov in his opener.

Kozlov is world ranked 130 and reached the Second Round of the recent Australian Open – marking his best run in a Grand Slam to date.

This will be the first competitive meeting between the two players on any surface and sees Nadal bidding to avoid what would be a monumental upset on current form.

Again, it is difficult to foresee anything other than a straight sets win for Rafa, but 1/12 others nothing in the way of value, so we are opting for a Nadal win and over 16.5 total games at 4/6 with Bet365.

Nadal v Kozlov is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 2am GMT.

Watch Nadal v Kozlov in the 2022 Mexican Open live stream on laptop, mobile or tablet devices

Rafael Nadal marks his return to action for the first time since his epic Australian Open triumph with a clash against Denis Kudla in the First Round of the Mexican Open.

Nadal etched his name into the tennis record books by securing his 21st Grand Slam title in Melbourne last month to overtake rivals Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic at the top of the all-time list.

The 35-year-old, who had been out of action since ending his season early in August due to a foot injury, rolled back the years to pull off a stunning success Down Under.

Nadal, seeded number four, is among a star-studded field for the ATP 500 event on hard court, which includes four of the world’s top five ranked players.

He begins his campaign against America’s Kudla, with the world number 105 having notably reached the Fourth Round of Wimbledon back in 2015.

This will be the first competitive meeting between the two players on any surface and sees Nadal bidding to avoid what would be a monumental upset on current form.

It’s difficult to envisage any other outcome than a straight sets victory for Nadal, but 1/7 offers little in the way of value, so our best bet is for under 18.5 total games at 5/6 with Bet365.

Nadal v Kudla is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 2am GMT.

Four of the world’s top five ranked players are in action, including 21-time Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal – who has won this title on three previous occasions.

Daniil Medvedev can leapfrog Novak Djokovic into the world number one spot by winning the title, regardless of Djokovic’s result in the ongoing Dubai Championships.

Alexander Zverev is seeded number two, ahead of Greek star Stefanos Tsitsipas, while Matteo Berrettini, Cameron Norrie, Taylor Fritz and Pablo Carreño Busta are also among the eight seeds.

Qualifiers include Oscar Otte, Kevin Anderson and Steve Johnson, while Denis Kudla is among the three ‘Lucky Losers’.
