Zverev v Medvedev live stream and preview | 2021 Nitto ATP Finals

Alexander Zverev will take on Daniil Medvedev in the final of the 2021 Nitto ATP Finals on Sunday at 4.00 pm (UK Time).

Alexander Zverev didn’t have a clean run in the group stages, but he produced a stunning performance against Novak Djokovic in the semifinals. This was Zverev’s second three-set victory over Nole after beating the Serb in the semifinal at the Tokyo Olympics. Zverev has gone 25-4 on the main tour since then and two of these four defeats came at the hands of none other than Daniil Medvedev.

The German is used with tough tests here at the ATP Finals, as he defeated Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic in the semifinal and final back in 2018.

After scoring three victories in the group stages, Daniil Medvedev had an en easy match against Casper Ruud in the semifinals. A victory here over Zverev would make Medvedev the first unbeaten champion in ATP Finals since Djokovic back in 2014.

The Russian is currently on a nine-match winning run in the ATP Finals, including a 2-1 victory over Zverev in the group stages. Daniil Medvedev should feel confident ahead of this clash as he has won the last five meetings with Zverev on hard courts.

We expect a contested match between these two so our prediction is Over 22.5 Games at odds of 3/4 with Bet365.

Zverev v Medvedev is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 4 pm BST.

Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev lock horns in the second semifinal of the 2021 Nitto ATP Finals on Saturday at 8.00 pm (UK Time).

Novak Djokovic looked absolutely dominant in the group stage by topping the group with maximum points and without losing a single set in three matches. He ended the group’s last match against Norrie in just over an hour, which allowed him to get more recovery time ahead of the semifinals.

Nole is the only player who is yet to drop a set in Turin this week and he did that also back in 2014 and 2018 and also reached the final on both occasions.

On the flip side, Alexander Zverev lost against Medvedev in the group stages, but then did well to win against Berrettini and Hurkacz. Zverev has played five semifinal matches over the past few months and has won three of those, against Djokovic, Zverev and Alcaraz.

Zverev has won 24 matches on indoor hard courts since 2020 and he has suffered just six defeats in this term.

Our best prediction for this match is Novak Djokovic to win 2-0 at odds of 1/1 with Bet365.

Djokovic v Zverev is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 8pm BST.

Watch Djokovic v Zverev in the 2021 ATP Nitto Finals live stream on laptop, mobile or tablet devices

Daniil Medvedev will face Casper Ruud in the first semifinal of the 2021 Nitto ATP Finals on Saturday at 1.00 pm (UK Time).

Daniil Medvedev did well to top the Red Group table with three victories, but it has to be said that he dropped a set in each of those games. He had a tough match against Sinner in the last group match and his effort has to be appreciated as he was already qualified for the semifinals. Daniil holds a perfect H2H record over Ruud, having won both previous encounters.

Daniil Medvedev has won his last eight matches in the ATP Finals, which earned him the title last year.

Casper Ruud finished second in the Green Group table after beating Andrey Rublev in the decisive match. Ruud is currently tied with Djokovic and Zverev for most titles won on the main tour in 2021 and has won the most recent five semifinals he played.

Ruud has only won six games in the most recent meeting with Medvedev in Mallorca on grass back in July. Reaching the final itself will be a massive success for Ruud, but unfortunately, we don’t think he has the weapons to defeat Medvedev on indoor hard courts.

We fancy Under 21.5 Games at odds of 3/4 with Bet365.

Medvedev v Ruud is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 1pm BST.

Watch Medvedev v Ruud in the 2021 ATP Nitto Finals live stream on laptop, mobile or tablet devices

Cameron Norrie is still looking for a place in the Nitto ATP Finals when he meets Novak Djokovic on Friday at 8.00pm (UK Time).

After lifting the trophy in Paris two weeks ago, Novak Djokovic continued his excellent form with two straight-set victories here in Turin. The Serb needed a tiebreaker against Ruud in the opening match but then dropped just five games against Rublev in the second group match.

Nole’s sole loss in two months came at the hands of Daniil Medvedev in the final of the US Open.

Meanwhile, Cameron Norrie has had an impressive year so far, but his recent form hasn’t been great. He lost against Auger-Aliassime in the 2nd round of the Vienna Open and in 3rd round of the Paris Masters against Fritz. In addition, he began his adventure in Turin with a disappointing loss in three sets against Ruud.

Norrie badly needs a victory today in order to stand a chance for a semifinal spot and will be interesting to see how he manages this first-ever encounter with Novak.

Novak has already qualified for the semifinals, so we expect Over 19.5 Games at odds of 5/6 with Bet365.

Djokovic v Norrie is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 8pm BST.

Watch Djokovic v Norrie in the 2021 ATP Nitto Finals live stream on laptop, mobile or tablet devices

Andrey Rublev and Casper Ruud will fight for a place in the Semi-finals of the 2021 Nitto ATP Finals on Friday at 1.00pm (UK Time).

Andrey Rublev kicked off his Turin campaign with a 2-0 win over Stefanos Tsitsipas, but then lost in straight sets against Novak Djokovic. Rublev made his debut campaign at the ATP Finals last year, when he registered two defeats and one win in three group matches.

Rublev hasn’t been at his best lately, but he holds an impressive 5-0 record over Casper Ruud.

Meanwhile, Casper Ruud has won six of his last ten matches on indoor hard courts. Ruud has suffered a 2-0 defeat against Novak Djokovic, but he did well beat Norrie 2-1 in the second group match.

Ruud has recently suffered two consecutive defeats in the quarterfinals of Vienna Open and Paris Masters, so it will be interesting to see if he can win in this ‘virtual’ quarter-final.

Our best betting tips and predictions for this clash is Under 22.5 Games at odds of 4/5 with Bet365.

Rublev v Ruud is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 1pm BST.

Watch Rublev v Ruud in the 2021 ATP Nitto Finals live stream on laptop, mobile or tablet devices

Alexander Zverev takes on Hubert Hurkacz on Thursday at 1.00pm (UK Time) in the third group match of the Nitto ATP Finals.

Zverev began his 2021 Nitto ATP Finals adventure with a victory over Berrettini but then lost in three sets against Medvedev. This might be the deciding match for Zverev, who currently sits 3rd in the Red Group standings with one point after two matches.

Zverev is one of the best three performers in the second half of the season, having competed in six tournaments while reaching at least the semifinal in five of these.

Hubert Hurkacz, on the flip side, has extended his losing run to three matches after his defeat against Sinner two days ago. Hurkacz has lost both matches here in Turin and he badly needs a victory today in order to stand a chance for a semi-final spot. However, he also needs Daniil Medvedev, who already qualified for the next stage, to defeat Jannik Sinner.

We expect Alexander Zverev to secure a 2-0 victory at odds of 6/10 with Bet365.

Zverev v Hurkacz is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 1pm BST.

Watch Zverev v Hurkacz in the 2021 ATP Nitto Finals live stream on laptop, mobile or tablet devices

Novak Djokovic and Andrey Rublev will square off in the 2021 Nitto ATP Finals on Wednesday in what will be the first-ever meeting between the two.

Djokovic is now on a six-match winning streak after recently winning the Paris Masters and beating Casper Ruud 2-0 in the opening round here in Turin.

The Serbian star has won 12 of his last 13 matches on indoor hard courts. Novak’s record in ATP Finals reads 39 victories, 5 titles in 14 four appearances.

Djokovic’s most recent defeats in the second-round-robin matches in the ATP Finals came against Dominic Thiem in 2019 and Daniil Medvedev in 2020.

Meanwhile, Rublev managed an impressive 6-4, 6-4 victory over Stefanos Tsitsipas in the first round in Turin. This was actually Rublev’s first victory in the ATP Finals, as in his debut campaign back in 2020 he lost both matches against Nadal and Tsitsipas.

In addition, Rublev has struggled for form recently, having lost five of his last eight matches on indoor hard courts.

Our prediction for this match is Under 21.5 Games at odds of 4/5 with Bet365.

Djokovic v Rublev is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 1pm BST.

Watch Djokovic v Rublev in the 2021 ATP Nitto Finals live stream on laptop, mobile or tablet devices

Alexander Zverev will kick off his fifth ATP Finals campaign with a meeting against Matteo Berrettini on Sunday.

Zverev is the second-most experienced player in ATP Finals due to his five visits here. Two of his four campaigns in this tournament ended in the group stages, but he managed to win the title once here back in 2018 after defeating Federer in the semifinals and Djokovic in the final.

Zverev is definitely one of the best performers on the main tour this year, having won five titles on the main tour while winning 55 matches.

Berrettini secured his spot here in Turin following some impressive performances in big events earlier this year. The Italian hasn’t lost a single match in Grand Slams before the quarterfinal stages this year. His career-best result in Masters events was finishing as the runner-up to Zverev in Madrid.

Berrettini is in a tough group this year as he has to face the likes of Zverev, Medvedev and Hurkacz.

We fancy Alexander Zverev to win 2-0 at odds of 1/1 with Bet365.

Zverev v Berrettini is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 8.00pm BST.

Watch Zverev v Berrettini in the 2021 ATP Nitto Finals live stream on laptop, mobile or tablet devices

Daniil Medvedev will begin his ATP Finals title defence when he takes on Hubert Hurkacz on Sunday at 1.00pm (UK Time).

No one has defended his ATP finals title since 2015 when Novak Djokovic managed to retain the title for a 4th consecutive time. The interesting fact is that Medevev has won 13 titles on the main tour so far in his career but never managed to defend any of them.

Daniil Medvedev has been playing excellent tennis over the past three seasons and was the sole player that had a great opportunity to replace Novak Djokovic as the World No.1 a few weeks ago.

Hubert Hurkacz has secured his place at the Nitto ATP Finals following his semifinal run at the Paris Masters five days ago. To be fair, Hurkacz deserves his place here as 22 of his 36 wins of the season have come in Masters events and Grand Slams.

His best results of the season are a title in Miami Masters and a semifinal appearance in Wimbledon.

Our prediction for this clash is Under 22.5 Games at odds of 3/4 with Bet365.

Medvedev v Hurkacz is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 1.00pm BST.
