The final Grand Slam of the year will be held on outdoor hard courts, with both the men’s and women’s singles draws featuring 32 seeded players and a host of qualifiers and wildcards.
Dominic Thiem is the reigning men’s champion but will be absent from this year’s US Open due to a wrist injury.
Novak Djokovic is the number one seed and is aiming to become only the second man in the Open Era, after Rod Laver in 1969, to complete the Calendar Year Grand Slam.
Djokovic is also attempting to claim an outright record 21st major singles title and break a tie he currently holds with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.
Naomi Osaka secured her second women’s single title at the US Open in 2020 with a 1-6, 6-3, 6-3 victory over Victoria Azarenka in the final.
The Japanese star became the first player to win the US Open women’s singles title after losing the first set since Arantxa Sánchez Vicario in 1994.
Five-time champion Roger Federer and four-time champion Rafael Nadal will both miss out through injury, as will six-time women’s champion Serena Williams.
We’ve put together a guide to the best enhanced specials and free bet offers currently available on the US Open.

US Open Betting Offers
Paddy Power – Free Bet if one leg of your US Open acca lets you down
As well as their generous sign-up offer, Paddy Power are also offering all customers a free bet if one leg of your acca lets you down.
The offer applies to pre-match accumulators with a minimum of four selections at minimum odds of 1/5 per selection.
Your first US Open acca each day will be covered by Paddy Power’s acca insurance, with maximum free bets of £10 per day.
The free bet will be credited by 12pm the following day and will be available for seven days from when it is credited.
Paddy Power – Money back on match betting if your player retires from their match

If the retirement/disqualification occurs following the conclusion of the first set, the player or pairing progressing to the next round (or winning the tournament in the case of a final) will, for the purpose of any match bets, be deemed the winner but match bets placed on the retiring player or pairing will be voided and stakes in respect of those bets refunded.
William Hill – Get 10% of your in-play losses back as a Free Bet

The value of your free bet is equivalent to 10% of your net losses each week (the amount by which your stakes go over all returns from in-play tennis bets for the previous week ).
For example – Stake a total of £200 in-play tennis bets and receive total returns of £20 from those bets. Your net losses would be £180 and your free bet would be £18 (i.e. 10% of your £180 losses).

Who are the favourites to win the US Open?
In the absence of rivals Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, it’s no surprise to see Novak Djokovic installed at odds-on in most places to win the 2021 US Open.
Djokovic has dominated in Grand Slams this year, winning the Australian Open, French Open and Wimbledon, and is out to complete a remarkable calendar year quadruple.
Daniil Medvedev finished runner-up to Nadal in 2019 and is the 4/1 second favourite to go a step further this time around, while Alexander Zverev follows in the market at 6/1 as he bids to follow up his recent gold medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games.
Wimbledon champion Ash Barty is the 7/2 favourite to claim her first US Open title, while reigning and two-time champion Naomi Osaka is the 11/2 second favourite for glory.
