Top seed Taylor Fritz takes on Australia’s Aleksandar Vukic in the final of the 2023 ATP Atlanta Open on Sunday.
Home favourite Fritz is vying to claim his sixth career ATP title and a second of the year to follow on from his triumph at Delray Beach in February.
The world number nine has struggled in Grand Slams this season but has produced his best form on hard court to reach the final here for the second time.
Atlanta Open runner-up in 2019, Fritz will be hoping to go one better and make it five consecutive final wins.
Last year’s Indian Wells Masters champion has blitzed through to the final in six straight sets and has been broken just once all tournament.
He began by defeating China’s Wu Yibing in the Second Round, before brushing aside Kei Nishikori and J.J. Wolf without reply.
Standing in the way of Fritz and the title is world number 82 Vukic – appearing in his first ATP final.
The Aussie ace is a multiple Challenger event winner and reached the Second Round on his main draw debut at Wimbledon last month.
The 27-year-old has seen off a trio of formidable opposition to book his place in the final, overcoming fourth seed Yoshihito Nishioka, fifth seed Christopher Eubanks and seventh seed Ugo Humbert.
He now faces Fritz for the first time in professional competition, with the winner pocketing $112,000.
The final gets under way from 9pm BST and will be contested over the best of three sets.
