Alexander Zverev will be looking for an 11th consecutive victory on hard courts when he takes on Andrey Rublev in the Cincinnati Masters 2021 Final.
Andrey Rublev put in a fantastic performance by coming back from one set down to beat his compatriot Daniil Medvedev in the semifinals. Rublev’s opponents in the first three rounds here were accessible as he met Cilic, Monfils, and Paire. He has dropped at least one set in three of his four matches in Cincinnati Masters this week and came back from one set down in two of these encounters. A victory today will see Rublev win his first Masters 1000 event.
Meanwhile, Alexander Zverev is currently on a ten-match winning streak on hard courts.
