ATP Delray Beach takes place from February 11-19, and we’ve selected our best bets and outright predictions (18+).
ATP Delray Beach is played on a Plexipave hard court surface and many of the field from last week’s ATP Dallas tournament have made their way over for this event too.
Yibing Wu became the first Chinese tennis player to win on the ATP Tour last week and was available at 50/1 before the week started. Last week’s analysis proved accurate with all the big guns going out leaving our tip John Isner in the final against Wu. Three tiebreaks were required to sort them out and at 14-12 in the final set tiebreak Wu finally won out.
Taylor Fritz is again the number one seed and market leader but Wu beat him fairly comfortably last week and we will look to take him on again here.

ATP Delray Beach Betting Tips
Given his draw I make Paul the favourite for this tournament. He only has one title to his name in his career and it is about time that changed. His run in the Australian Open makes him the top player in this tournament and if he doesn’t at least make the final he should be very disappointed with that effort.
Ben Shelton 1pt @ 12/1 (Bet365)
The only threat to Paul in the bottom half of the draw in my opinion is the big serving youngster. Another one who gave huge notice of his talent in the Australian Open, Shelton is very much back on home soil here where he can be confident that he has a real chance of picking up some good ranking points. Giron is a fairly tricky opener though so he will need to hit the ground running.
Wolf is in the form of his career and just ran up against a brick wall in John Isner last week after disposing of Frances Tiafoe. Ilya Ivashka is no gimme in round one but then a soft second round leads to Taylor Fritz in the quarterfinals. I like Wolf’s chances in that matchup, especially given how he played against Tiafoe last week.

Delray Beach is a 28-man draw with 8 seeded players. The top four seeds all receive a bye to the second round. The qualifiers will be finalised on Monday.
