The most electrifying match-up in the current era of men’s tennis takes place in the semi-finals as the world number 2, Carlos Alcaraz, meets world number one, Novak Djokovic, on Saturday in Turin.

Carlos Alcaraz vs Novak Djokovic Prediction

This could be an absolute barnstormer.

Novak Djokovic has already made excellent matches with Holger Rune and Jannik Sinner in the group stages, and his match with Hubert Hurkacz also went to three sets, so the Serbian has not had an easy ride so far.

Alcaraz has been under the gun from the start from this tournament. He lost a three-setter to Alexander Zverev, but bounced back with two straight sets wins over Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev.

There is very little between the players, but there is a general feeling that Alcaraz is not quite at his peak and Djokovic is the ultimate match-player. The world number one oftens finds a way to win, and Alcaraz seems susceptible to someone who can raise their floor to a great height, as Zverev was able to do to him.
