Andy Murray will be looking for another comfortable win at the 2021 Metz Open when he takes on Hubert Hurkacz on Friday.
Hurkacz has enjoyed plenty of success on the main tour this season, having won the Miami Open and the Delray Beach event. However, he is yet to make it beyond the Quarter-Final stage in ATP Tour events on indoor hard courts.
His form over the past two months has seen him win six and lost four of his ten matches on hard courts.
Meanwhile, Murray kicked off his 2021 Metz Open campaign in impressive fashion, dispatching Ugo Humbert and Vasek Pospisil in the opening two rounds. His victory over Pospisil was only his fourth straight-set victory in tour-level events this year, while his win over Humbert marked his highest-ranked triumph of the season.
The Brit has competed in ATP Metz just once in his career, back in 2007 when he lost against Tommy Robredo in the final.
