Two friends and compatriots will meet today in Rome, as Aslan Karatsev takes on Daniil Medvedev.
Aslan Karatsev has been on a continuous rise since the beginning of 2020 when he was ranked as No. 202 in the world and he is now 27th ranked in the ATP Rankings. Aslan has already played ten matches on clay courts this season and only lost three of these. He managed some excellent results during this run, including a 2-1 win over Novak Djokovic in Belgrade and another 2-1 victory over Schwartzman in Madrid.
