Casper Ruud will be looking for a third consecutive trophy when he takes on Arthur Rinderknech in the Semi-finals of the Kitzbuhel Open 2021 today at 15.00pm (UK Time).
Casper Ruud has been in excellent shape over the past two weeks, having won ten consecutive matches on the clay surface. During this run, Ruud has lifted titles in Bastad and Gstaad, and he is now just two matches away to grab another trophy here in Kitzbuhel. Ruud leads the ATP Tour with the most victories on clay since the start of the season. However, it has to be said that Casper has faced only one top-50 player in two weeks – Benoit Paire.
Arthur Rinderknech has also been in great shape over the past month, having won 12 of his last 15 matches across all competitions. He has recently reached the quarterfinals in Bastad and Gstaad, but unfortunately lost both while winning just one set. This will be his first Semifinal on the main tour of the season and it will be interesting to see how he handles that.
