Holger Rune vs Andrey Rublev live stream | ATP Monte-Carlo Final Preview

The first Masters 1000 final on clay for 2023 will feature Denmark’s Holger Rune against Russia’s Andrey Rublev with action scheduled to start at 13:30 UK time.

Holger Rune has been made quite a strong favourite for this off the back of his fantastic victory against Jannik Sinner yesterday. It was an epic tussle between the two youngsters and Rune really showed all of his skill and character, both good and bad, in getting the job done.

Andrey Rublev also had to come from a set down against Taylor Fritz but managed to overwhelm the American from the ground in the end.

I am expecting this final to be quite epic as well. Both men have exceptionally high rally tolerance so we will see a lot of running on the baseline, a lot of angles on the groundstrokes and a lot of lines being hit.

The last time these two met it went 5 sets and into a match tiebreak in Australia. Even the match tiebreak went to 11-9. It is difficult to split the two but my leaning is towards the improving Rune.
