Depending on your favoured line of form, this match could go either way.

Jannik Sinner has definitely had the better 2023 from the two players. The Italian has gathered far more ranking points, prize money and match wins than the Greek. Sinner also has more titles, winning four to Tsitsipas’ one, and Sinner arrives in better form having won eight of his last ten including a title run.

Tsitsipas started the season well with an Australian Open final appearance in his pocket. However, he hasn’t been able to replicate that form, and, indeed, his performances have been pretty poor on the court.
