Roberto Bautista-Agut takes on British wildcard Andy Murray in the Second Round of the 2022 Qatar Open on Wednesday.
Murray has been in impressive form in the first two months of the year, having won seven of his 11 matches on hard courts. His best performance during this run was finishing as runner-up to Aslan Karatsev in Sydney.
Murray began his 2022 Dubai Tennis Championships with a straight sets win over Daniel Taro, losing just four games in the process as he avenged his defeat to the Japanese star at the recent Australian Open.
In addition, the Brit improved his record to 20-3 in this tournament and is a two-time champion and also a two-time runner-up here in Doha.
Bautista-Agut, meanwhile, has won four single matches in the ATP Cup in the first couple of days of 2022 to take Spain to the final. However, he then lost out to Felix Auger-Aliassime in his final singles encounter.
The Spaniard has recently participated in Montpellier where he lost against Bublik in three sets in the Second Round. His record for 2022 reads seven victories and three defeats in ten matches on hard courts.
We fancy Bautista-Agut to win at odds of 8/11 with Bet365.
