Casper Ruud route to the final | Norwegian hoping to recover following French Open loss
Casper Ruud comes into the Queen’s Club Championship with momentum after making the French Open final earlier this month.
The 23-year old Norwegian has had a stellar year so far, winning his seventh career ATP title in the Argentina Open and rising to sixth in the world. His French Open loss to Rafael Nadal is nothing to be sniffed at either, with Ruud being added to a long list of great players to be beaten by the Spaniard at Roland Garros.
This will be Ruud’s first entry at Queen’s but his record on the grass of South West London isn’t great with two first round losses at Wimbledon in his short career so far. He’s grown immeasurably as a player in the past couple of years though and comes into the tournament as one of the front runners.
