The 2023 Australian Open marks the first Grand Slam of the year, and a live stream is available for all matches.

The 111th edition of the Australian Open, the 55th in the Open Era, features singles, doubles and mixed doubles events on hard court surface across 25 courts.

This year’s Australian Open, part of the ATP Tour and WTA Tour, will take place from January 16-29 at Melbourne Park in Victoria.

Rafael Nadal is the reigning Men’s Singles champion after he came from two sets down to defeat Daniil Medvedev in an historic final 12 months ago.

In winning the title, Nadal broke the all-time men’s major singles titles record, landing his second Australian Open crown and becoming the most successful player in the modern era.

Nadal, who went on to claim a 14th French title later in the year, returns Down Under as the number one seed and in search of Grand Slam title number 23.

Fourth seed Novak Djokovic returns to the tournament after being ruled out last year and is attempting to become the first man to win ten Australian Open titles.

Back-to-back runner-up Medvedev is out to go one better than his last two attempts, while other key contenders include Casper Ruud, Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Home favourite Nick Kyrgios was forced to withdraw through injury, however.

Ash Barty lifted the Women’s Singles title on home soil last year but subsequently retired from the sport just two months later.

Barty’s retirement and Angelique Kerber and Naomi Osaka’s absences mean that Victoria Azarenka and Sofia Kenin are the only former champions to compete in this year’s event.

Iga Swiatek is the number one seed as she aims to add this title to last year’s French Open and US Open triumphs, while two-time Grand Slam finalist Ons Jabeur remains in hot pursuit of a maiden major title.

A live stream of matches from both the show courts and outside courts at the Australian Open is available to watch live on desktop, mobile or tablet devices in various regions worldwide.
