Australian Open 2023 Prize Money: Increased pot means highest ever cheques for winners
G4Y95P Tennis – 2012 Australian Open – Day Fourteen – Melbourne Park
The prize money is equal for both men and women at the Australian Open. The fund has risen by 3.38% from last year and by over 150% in the last 10 years.
Whilst it is easy to concentrate on the winner’s cheque, which is considerable, qualifying for the main draw for the lesser ranked players can often pay for their whole year. Alongside the money there will also be 2000 ranking points awarded to the winner of the tournament.
