Novak Djokovic faces a tricky opponent in the shape of Matteo Berrettini in the Quarter-Finals of the 2021 French Open on Wednesday.
Djokovic survived a major scare in the previous round as he was two sets two against Musetti. However, the Serb looked like a completely different player starting with the third set as he only dropped one game. Djokovic managed another two recoveries from two sets to love in his Grand Slams career and managed to lift the titles on both occasions: at the US Open 2011 and Wimbledon 2015.
Berrettini, on the other hand, is fresh ahead of this clash as he received a walkover from Roger Federer in the previous round at Roland Garros. The Italian had some comfortable matches in the first three rounds against Coria, Kwon Soonwoo, and Daniel Taro. Matteo has enjoyed an excellent season on clay so far this year, having won 14 of his 17 matches on this surface.
