Novak Djokovic will be looking for a 4th consecutive straight-sets victory at the French Open 2021 when he takes on Lorenzo Musetti today at 12.30pm (UK Time).
After winning the title in Belgrade a week ago, Djokovic continued his excellent form by securing three comfortable victories at Roland Garros. He hasn’t dropped a single set in the previous three rounds and has only lost 23 games in the process. More than that, the Serb has lost his serve just once and won 83% of his first-serve points. Djokovic won against Berankis in the previous round and became the first player to reach the Round of 16 in Paris 12 consecutive times.
Musetti, on the other hand, has had an excellent season so far as he won two Challenger titles and reached two Semi-finals in ATP events. Musetti looked sharp in the opening two rounds by winning in straights sets against Goffin and Nishioka, but had a tougher match against his compatriot Cecchinato in the 3rd round which ended in five sets. The is Lorenzo’s first-ever appearance in the main draw of a Grand Slam and has been playing more than impressive.
Although Musetti has had an amazing run at the French Open so far, we expect Djokovic to continue his impeccable streak and to finish the match in under 29.5 games at 4/6 with Bet365.
