Emilio Nava vs Liam Broady live stream with Bet365 | French Open Qualifying

Liam Broady escaped from going a set down to French teenager Arthur Gea in the opening round of qualifying to now face American Emilio Nava in the second round.

Broady felt his way into the match after initially struggling to hold serve against the talented teenager. The British #4 broke Gea to take the second set and then won the third set with a single break as well.

Nava defeated Bulgarian Dimitar Kuzmanov in the opening round in straight sets. This is a more impressive performance than Broady’s on paper.

The players have never played against each other before and both have been in really patchy form ahead of the qualifying here. There have also been some concerns on Broady’s health, but the Grand Slams are simply too valuable to not play. Both men are already guaranteed 22,000EUR at this stage.

Nava is the slight favourite for the match according to the bookmakers and that is a view that I would agree with, Nava should be favoured to progress here.

The match gets under way from around 3.30pm BST on Wednesday May 24.
