The French Open gets under way at Roland Garros this weekend, with the seeds having been confirmed for the second Grand Slam of the season.
The seeds for the event have been released ahead of the draw and all eyes will be on Paris as the likes of Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Iga Swiatek arrive hoping to claim victory.

What is the prize money for the French Open 2022?
The prize money for the 2021 French Open fell from 2020 at €38m to €34.36m but this year, with COVID restrictions now lifted and crowds returning to the competition, the prize money has risen for this year’s event. The French Open 2022 prize money has been set at €43.6m, with the values shared equally between the men’s and women’s tournaments.
The winners of the two tournaments will pocket €2.2m each, with the runners up claiming €1.1m apiece. The prize money is staggered through the tournament with players exiting in the first round collecting €62,000 all the way through to the losing semi-finalists, who each receives a cheque for €600,000.
