Garbine Muguruza will take on Marta Kostyuk in the opening round of the 2021 French Open from 3.30pm BST on Monday.

Garbine Mugurza has had an excellent first half of the season so far, having won 23 of her 30 matches. She has won the title in Dubai and finished as runner-up in Doha and Melbourne 500s. It has to be said that Mugurza has also won the French Open back in 2016 and was a semi-finalist in 2018. However, last year she succumbed to an unexpected loss to Daniele Collins in the third round.

Meanwhile, Marta Kostyuk had a decent clay season so far, having won six of her nine matches on this surface. Her best performance was in Istanbul where she reached the Semi-finals before losing to Sorana Cirstea in straight sets. This will be Kostyuk’s only 5th Grand Slam main draw appearance, but she never reached the 2nd round here at Roland Garros.

Garbine Mugurza to beat Marta Kostyuk 2-0 at the price of 6/10 looks to be a decent bet here.

The match is available to watch live on desktop, mobile or tablet devices in the UK and various other regions worldwide.
