Novak Djokovic landed his third French Open title at Roland Garros.

The Serb soared to his record-breaking 23rd grand slam singles triumph, beating Casper Ruud in straight sets in the final on Court Philippe-Chatrier.

That came after victories over Aleksandar Kovacevic, Marton Fucsovics, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, Juan Pablo Varillas, Karen Khachanov and top seed Carlos Alcaraz.

He also became the first man to win each major at least three times.
