Novak Djokovic will face Aljaz Bedene in the third round of the French Open 2022 on Friday at 12.30 pm (UK Time).
Novak Djokovic has won nine of his last ten matches on clay courts and he is currently on a seven-match winning streak. Nole hasn’t dropped a single set in his last seven matches, including two 3-0 victories here in Paris against Nishioka and Molcan.
Actually, Novak’s sole defeat over the past month came at the hands of Carlos Alcaraz in Madrid.
Although Djokovic was denied playing opportunities for a couple of months of the 2022 season, he still put in a lot of hard work recently and managed to win his first title of the season in Rome Masters.
On the contrary, Aljaz Bedene has lost seven of his last ten matches across all surfaces. Bedene has only played seven matches in 2022 and he seemed to be in a rough shape prior to the start of the French Open 2022.
Bedene tried his luck in Belgrade and Lyon in the warmup for the French Open but has suffered second-round and first-round eliminations respectively.
