Last season saw the Tunisian become the first Arab woman to reach grand slam singles finals when she was pipped to the titles by Elena Rybakina and Iga Swiatek at Wimbledon and the US Open respectively.

Although, numerous injury issues have prevented her from kicking on this season, while she is yet to advance beyond round four at Roland Garros.

However, she does have a generally favourable draw leading up to the quarter-finals, starting against Italy’s Lucia Bronzetti in round one.
