Andy Murray will be looking to make it back-to-back victories at the 2021 Indian Wells Masters when he takes on Carlos Alcaraz on Sunday.
Emerging star Alcaraz has been in fantastic form over the past three months, having won 14 of his last 18 matches on clay and hard surfaces.
The Spaniard won the Umag Open back in July before reaching the Semi-Finals in Winston-Salem and Quarter-Finals at the US Open.
Alcaraz looked impressive at the US Open where he defeated the likes of Norrie, Tsitsipas and Gojowczyk before withdrawing against Auger-Aliassime in the quarterfinals.
Meanwhile, Murray has been in mixed shape recently, having registered four wins and two defeats in his last six matches on hard courts. The Brit kicked off the Indian Wells Masters with a straight-set victory over Adrian Mannarino while dropping just five games in the process.
Murray looked in control in the opening round, but the ominous news is that he has suffered Second Round defeats in three of the last four tournaments he competed in.
