Barbora Krejcikova vs Aryna Sabalenka live stream | WTA Miami Open 2023

In what feels like a weekly event at the moment, Barbora Krejcikova and Aryna Sabalenka meet in Miami tonight. The winner will reach the quarter-finals of the WTA1000 event.

Sabalenka is rightly favoured by the bookmakers for this clash. They have shared their 2023 meetings 1-1 but even in the Krejcikova victory, Sabalenka was cruising to victory until an implosion occurred.

The Belarusian has only suffered two defeats all year, the other being to Elena Rybakina in the Indian Wells final, and she did her confidence no harm whatsoever in blasting away Marie Bouzkova in the previous round.

Krejcikova is undoubtedly back to the top of her game now as well though. Sabalenka is the only player to have defeated her in the last three tournaments and I suspect that the Czech is probably a bit annoyed that the draw has brought them together so early once again. The 2021 French Open champion was really put under pressure by Madison Keys in the last round but emerged victorious and that says everything about her game at the moment.

I suspect that Sabalenka will have too much firepower for Krejcikova. As long as the Australian Open champion can remain consistent with her length then she has a great chance to progress from this match.

Play gets underway at around 1:30am GMT on Tuesday (UK time) and will be contested over the best of three sets.
