Jack Draper v Stefanos Tsitsipas live stream | National Bank Open preview

Third seed Stefanos Tsitsipas will face British qualifier Jack Draper in the Second Round of the 2022 National Bank Open in Montreal on Wednesday.

The first meeting between the two players will see Greek star Tsitsipas looking to avert an upset at the hands of 20-year-old emerging talent Draper.

Tsitsipas has picked up two titles so far this season – both on clay in Monte Carlo and on grass in Mallorca – and also reached the final in Rome, finishing runner-up to Novak Djokovic.

The world number five is making his first competitive appearance since his Third Round defeat to Nick Kyrgios at Wimbledon last month.

Tsitsipas was runner-up to Rafa Nadal on debut here in 2018 and will be keen to hit the ground running on his return.

Draper, meanwhile, made an impressive debut at the National Bank Open, overcoming fellow qualifier Hugo Gaston in straight sets on Tuesday.

The young Brit has made impressive strides at Challenger level this year and reached the Second Round at Wimbledon for the first time, eventually losing from a set up against Alex de Minaur.

His four Challenger titles this year have all come on hard court surface, and having also won two qualifying matches to reach the main stages here in Montreal, will be relishing arguably the biggest match of his career to date.

Either Gaël Monfils or Maxime Cressy will await the winner in the Third Round later in the week.
