Andy Murray launches his 17th US Open campaign when he plays Corentin Moutet in the first round on Tuesday.
Andy Murray vs Corentin Moutet Prediction
Murray has been there and got the T-shirt when it comes to the US Open. He won his first major title here in 2012, four years after he was beaten by Roger Federer in the final.
The three-time grand slam winner has only fallen at the first hurdle once in his 16 previous appearances at Flushing Meadows, and will be favourite to progress here.
But it will not be easy against Moutet, who reached the fourth round 12 months ago – becoming the first lucky loser to do so at a grand slam for eight years.
The Frenchman defeated the likes of Stan Wawrinka along the way, and will certainly not be frightened at the prospect of facing Murray.

Andy Murray road to the US Open
Murray arrives at Flushing Meadows with a 12-11 record on the ATP Tour this season, reaching the final in Doha before losing out to Daniil Medvedev.
