Ashleigh Barty will be looking for a seventh consecutive victory when she takes on Clara Tauson in the Second round of the 2021 US Open on Thursday.

Barty has won 13 of her last 14 matches on grass and hard courts and recently won the Cincinnati Masters without dropping a single set.

Barty kicked off her US Open campaign in a comfortable manner by winning in straight sets against Zvonareva. However, she became embroiled in a disagreement with the umpire over the electronic line calling system.

Meanwhile, Tauson has also been in fine shape of late and head into this clash on the back of a six-match winning streak on hard courts. She has recently won the Chicago Challenger following a three-set victory over Emma Raducanu in the final.

This is only her fourth Grand Slam appearance and she looked in fine shape against Clara Burel in the opening round.

Our prediction for this clash is Under 19.5 Games at odds of 4/5 with Bet365.

Barty v Tauson is available to watch via a live stream on desktop, mobile or tablet devices from approximately 4pm BST.
