Cameron Norrie v Andrey Rublev live stream | US Open 2022 preview

Britain’s number one Cameron Norrie will take on Andrey Rublev in the Fourth Round of the 2022 US Open on Monday.

Norrie finally progressed to the Last 16 of the US Open for the first time in six attempts, and the Brit has done it in style this time without dropping a single set in the first three rounds, brushing aside Benoit Paire, Joao Sousa, and Holger Rune.

This is probably the best season in Norrie’s career to date as he has won 42 matches and lost just 19. During this run, he has picked up two ATP 250 titles in Delray Beach and Lyon and has also finished runner-up to Daniil Medvedev in Los Cabos and runner-up to Rafael Nadal at the Mexican Open.

Head-to-head, Norrie lost the first match against Rublev two years ago in St. Petersburg but got his revenge last year at San Diego.

Rublev was already tested twice at the US Open last week as he played two five-setters against Laslo Djere in the first round and Denis Shapovalov in the third round. His only clean victory was against Kwon Soon-Woo in the Second Round – when he dropped just seven games.

Rublev is a two-time former US Open quarter-finalist, although last year in New York he succumbed to Frances Tiafoe in the Third Round.

The Russian holds a record of six wins and just one defeat against left-handed players this year.
