Caroline Wozniacki road to the US Open
Three years after announcing her retirement, Wozniacki marked her return to the WTA Tour by accepting wildcards for Montreal and Cincinnati.
The Dane overcame Kimberly Birrell before losing to Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova in Montreal, before losing her opener against Varvara Gracheva in Cincinnati.
Tatiana Prozorova road to the US Open
Prozorova only made her WTA debut earlier this season as a qualifier in Rabat.
An ITF winner in Madrid, she recently reached the last 16 in Palermo – losing out to top seed Daria Kasatkina.
