In-form Alexander Zverev will take on Lloyd George Harris in the Quarter-Finals of the 2021 US Open on Wednesday.
Zverev has registered his 15th consecutive victory on hard courts after beating Jannik Sinner in straight sets in the Round of 16 of the 2021 US Open. Three out of his four matches in Flushing Meadows have been in straight sets, with the only exception being the match against Sock in the third round.
Zverev, who won the Gold medal at the Olympics and lift the title in Cincinnati, last lost in the 4th round of Wimbledon against Felix Auger-Aliassime.
Meanwhile, Harris has enjoyed great success in New York this year, defeating three seeded players en route to the last eight. He had to play a five-set thriller against Khachanov in the opening round, but then raced past Escobedo and Shapovalov before defeating fellow American Opelka two days ago.
Harris has won just two matches at a Grand Slam prior to the US Open and was a finalist in Dubai this year.
