The 2023 Western & Southern Open takes centre stage in Cincinnati from August 13-20, and a live stream is available for all matches.

Part of the ATP Masters and WTA 1000 series, the tournament will be held at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio.

As the US Open draws ever nearer, the world’s best players will be out to build momentum to ensure they peak at Flushing Meadows later this month.

The big story in the men’s draw sees two-time champion Novak Djokovic return to the United States for the first time since he was defeated by Daniil Medvedev in the 2021 US Open final.

Djokovic and Medvedev are two of five former winners in the draw along with Alexander Zverev, Grigor Dimitrov and reigning champion Borna Coric.

Carlos Alcaraz, Casper Ruud, Holger Rune and recent Toronto champion Jannik Sinner are among the top seeds, along with home favourites Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe, while other big names to look out for include Hubert Hurkacz, Stan Wawrinka and a resurgent Gael Monfils.

Meanwhile, Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka headline the women’s draw, although home favourite Jessica Pegula is fresh from triumphing in Montreal last weekend.

Elena Rybakina, Ons Jabeur and Coco Gauff will also be looking to go deep in Cincinnati, as well as the likes of Marketa Vondrousova, Coco Gauff and Maria Sakkari.

Caroline Garcia is the reigning champion after defeating Petra Kvitova 6-2, 6-4 in last year’s final. The Frenchwoman is one of four former champions involved along with Karolina Pliskova, Madison Keys and two-time winner Victoria Azarenka.

There are plenty of other big names in the draw including Venus Williams and the returning Caroline Wozniacki, as well as former grand slam winners Sloane Stephens and Jelena Ostapenko.
