Novak Djokovic will be looking for his 16th consecutive victory when he faces Marton Fucsovics in the quarterfinals of the Wimbledon 2021 today at 13.30pm (UK Time).
After dropping a single set in the opening round against Jake Draper, Novak Djokovic improved his game a lot and secured three straight-set victories over Anderson, Kudla, and Garin. He probably had one of the easiest Round of 16 in Grand Slams in recent years against Cristian Garin, losing just eight games in a 1 hour and 51 minutes match. This will be Djokovic’s 50th quarterfinal match in Grand Slams and his 12th appearance at this level in Wimbledon.
Meanwhile, Marton Fucsovics had an impossible route on paper, but he did well to overcome all the difficulties and to reach his first quarterfinal match here at Wimbledon. The Hungarian player defeated Jack Sinner, Vesely and Diego Schwartzman, and Andrey Rublev in the opening four rounds. He had to fight back from one set down against Rublev in the Round of 16 to secure a five-set victory by winning the last two sets (6-0,6-3).
Although Marton Fucsovics has been in excellent shape lately, we still expect Novak to grab a comfortable victory here with Under 31.5 games at odds of 13/25 with Bet365.
