Swiatek will take on Jessica Pegula in the final of the WTA Finals, with both women being unbeaten in the competition so far.

Swiatek continued her dominance of the women’s game in 2023, following her two Grand Slam wins in 2022. The Australian Open wasn’t the most successful event for the Polish ace, who lost in the fourth round, being defeated by Elena Rybakina in straight sets. She was able to retain her French Open title, defeating Karolína Muchová in the final. It was her third French Open championship in four years, marking the event as her preferred tournament.
The same can’t be said for Wimbledon, where the 22-year-old has always struggled. There was no exception this year, although Swiatek was able to achieve her best ever finish in SW19, making the quarter-final before being defeated by Elina Svitolina. If she can retain her US Open trophy as well, it will be considered another successful year for Swiatek.
