Ons Jabeur v Belinda Bencic live stream | WTA Berlin Final preview

Ons Jabeur and Belinda Bencic will face off in the final of the 2022 WTA German Open in Berlin on Sunday.

Seeds number one and eight collide in what promises to be a fitting climax to the tournament as they aim to put their name on this trophy for the first time.

Bencic is bidding to go one better than 12 months ago when she lost out to Liudmila Samsonova in the final here despite taking the first set.

The Swiss star is through to her second WTA final of the season, having defeated Jabeur in the Charleston Open decider.

Bencic has had to battle hard in order to reach the title match this week, coming through third set deciders in each of her matches, starting against German wildcard Jule Niemeier, before going on to dispatch Anna Kalinskaya, Veronika Kudermetova and Maria Sakkari.

Jabeur is enjoying her highest-ever ranking of four and is into her fourth final of the season, following on from Charleston, Madrid and Rome.

The Tunisian star may be yet to win a match in a Grand Slam so far this season but has been in fine form on the circuit with an overall record of 29-9.

She saw off Karolina Muchova and Alycia Parks in straight sets to kick-start her run this week, before battling her way past Aliaksandra Sasnovich 6-7, 6-2, 6-2 in the Quarter-Finals and defeating Cori Gauff 7-6, 6-2 in the Semis.

Although Bencic leads the head-to-head by two to one, Jabeur avenged her defeat in the Charleston final with victory in the Madrid Open.
