Jelena Ostapenko vs Emma Raducanu live stream | WTA Stuttgart Preview

The WTA event in Stuttgart sees two big names meet in the first round this afternoon when Jelena Ostapenko and Emma Raducanu meet. 

Ostapenko comes into this match as the favourite, following a Round of 16 appearance at the Miami Open. It’s been a tough few months for the Latvian though, with a quarter final appearance at the Australian Open being the deepest she’s gone into a tournament since a losing final appearance in the Korea Open in September.

Raducanu has had her struggles herself, only making it past the quarter final stage in one of her last 24 tournaments (with her stunning US Open win her only career appearance in a final), and she’s slipped to 68 in the world rankings as a result.

This should be a tight contest between two out of form players and, with only one previous encounter between the two sides (which Ostapenko won) it hards to determine which woman will emerge victorious when the two meet in Germany.
