Markéta Vondroušová was unable to escape the group stage of the WTA Finals – here are the full details of her next match.
She’ll now look towards the Australian Open, where she’ll hope to win her second Grand Slam.

Marketa Vondrousova: Year to date
It has been a fairly unremarkable year for Vondroušová in the opening half of 2023, with a third round exit at the Australian Open, where she lost to Linda Fruhvirtová, being followed up with a disappointing second round, straight set defeat to Daria Kasatkina at the French Open.
Vondroušová defied every critic at Wimbledon, however, powering past Ons Jabeur in straight sets to claim her first ever Grand Slam. Vondroušová beat Jessica Pegula and Elina Svitolina en route to the final, proving that she had the talent to beat the very best on the biggest stage. The US Open represents here next challenge, and it will be interesting to see whether the Czech star can beat her previous event best of the fourth round.
