Iga Swiatek and Jessica Pegula go head to head in the final of the WTA Finals in Cancun on Monday evening.
Iga Swiatek v Jessica Pegula Prediction
The only two unbeaten women in this competition face off in the final, with both hoping to leave Mexico with the trophy.
Swiatek came through her group with relative ease, winning all three matches in straight sets, triumphing over Cori Gauff, Ons Jabeur and Marketa Vondrousova. This set up a tricky looking semi-final with world number one, Aryna Sabalenka, but Swiatek was again able to pass the test, winning 6-3, 6-2.
Pegula had an equally easy time in her group, topping a group made up of Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina and Maria Sakkari without dropping a set. A semi-final against her compatriot, Cori Gauff, saw Pegula pick up another victory, this time by a 6-2, 6-1 score-line.
With these two women being the standout performers in this tournament, we could be in for a real treat in Cancun and we think this one could go all the way to three sets.
