Best Bet for Day 14
Now that we are down to the final stage it isn’t really possible to try to take advantage of the Bet365 accumulator bonus on the Australian Open tennis.
Instead, we can go in-depth on the singles matches and try to find the right bet for the finals.
Stefanos Tsitsipas vs Novak Djokovic
My approach here is to research possible ways that Tsitsipas could try and take the game to Djokovic. The Serbian is looking unbeatable again in Australia, as he has been nine times before. He has now won 40 consecutive matches on Australian soil (hard-court) and has only dropped one set so far in this tournament.
Tsitsipas hasn’t lost in 2023 either having gone unbeaten in the United Cup before this tournament and is probably playing his most impressive tennis since 2021. In that year he met Djokovic in the French Open Final, even taking the first two sets before eventually succumbing to the great Serbian in five. One senses that it took him a while to get over that defeat and now we may be seeing his resurgence in challenging for the biggest titles.
Taking the last 12 months as a whole, Tsitsipas has played double the hard court matches of Djokovic but the quality gap is clear to see. Djokovic hold 9% more (93.1%) and breaks his opponent 12% more often. In this tournament the differences are 3% on serve and 20%(!) on return. Djokovic has been destroying his opponents whereas Tsitsipas has had a trickier route.
There’s only one way the match prediction can go and that is for Djokovic. The question of how many sets the victory will take. I think that backing the tiebreak in the opening set could be a good bet but ultimately I see Djokovic not wanting to give Tsitsipas a chance and attacking that backhand with power and angles. If Djokovic wins the first set it will go in straight sets.

Day 13 Review
Aryna Sabalenka has finally added her name to the list of Grand Slam champions. The Belarusian thoroughly deserved her victory with a barrage of winners, over 50, in the match and she dominated the final two sets against a very competent Elena Rybakina.
The 2-1 set scoreline meant that the Day 13 daily bet won, making it a very profitable tournament for daily followers. Also, half of the outright double tipped up on Day 8/9 is halfway there, only needing Novak Djokovic to convert on Sunday morning.
