Jack Draper goes head to head with Cameron Norrie in another all-British battle in round two at Wimbledon on Thursday.

Following Katie Boulter’s clash with Harriet Dart, two more home favourites take centre stage on No.1 Court, aiming to book a potential third-round clash with fourth seed Alexander Zverev.

And it promises to be another intriguing showdown between the current British number one and his predecessor.

Draper came through an epic five-set showdown with Elias Ymer in round one on Tuesday, and now looks to reach round three at SW19 for the first time.

Meanwhile, 2022 semi-finalist Norrie is aiming to avoid a second successive exit at this stage, and is fresh from a straight-sets victory over Facundo Diaz Acosta.

The winner of this contest will play either the in-form Zverev or Marcos Giron in round three.

The match gets under way at around 3.30pm BST on Thursday, and will be contested over the best of five sets on No.1 Court.

The ATP rankings and form book point towards a Draper victory.

Aside from a run to the semi-finals in Rio – and the quarter-finals in Barcelona and Auckland – it has been a generally inconsistent season for Norrie, who arrived here off the back of three straight defeats.

By contrast, Draper is fresh from a strong grass-court season, having landed his maiden ATP title in Stuttgart before beating Carlos Alcaraz at Queen’s.

Also a runner-up in Adelaide this season, you would expect the 28th seed to prevail here.
