Katie Boulter begins her third US Open campaign against Aliaksandra Sasnovich in the opening round at Flushing Meadows on Tuesday.

The British number one is seeded at the season’s final major for the first time following a solid season, in which she has already claimed two WTA titles.

The world number 85 endured a steady start to the campaign, but arrives in the Big Apple fresh from reaching the final in Budapest last month.

A showdown with either Jessica Bouzas Maneiro or Petra Martic awaits the winner of this clash in the second round.

The match gets under way at around 4pm BST (11am local time) on Tuesday and will be contested over the best of three sets in Stadium 17.
