Carlos Alcaraz is aiming to complete a hat-trick of men’s singles titles at the All England Club, though he will face competition from the likes of world number one Jannik Sinner and reigning champion Novak Djokovic.

What is the prize money for Wimbledon 2025?
The total prize money for Wimbledon stands at £53,550,000, an increase of over £3m (and seven per cent) from 2024.
Both singles champions will receive £3m each – up from £2.7m (11.11 per cent) – with the beaten finalists pocketing £1.52m apiece.
A losing semi-final appearance will pocket £775,000 – £375,000 more than for reaching the quarters.
Meanwhile, first-round singles losers will take home £66,000, which is an increase of £6,000 from 12 months ago.

Who won Wimbledon in 2024?
For the second year running, the men’s singles final was contested by Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic.
Once again, it was the Spaniard who prevailed – this time, in straight sets 6-2, 6-2, 7-6(4) – to successfully defend his crown.
Meanwhile, Barbora Krejcikova became the seventh different women’s singles champion in as many years, after defeating Jasmine Paolini 6-2, 2-6, 6-4.
The second lowest-ranked woman to lift the Venus Rosewater dish (32nd), Krejcikova was also the fifth Czech-born woman to do so after Martina Navratilova, Jana Novotna, Petra Kvitova and Marketa Vondrousova.
