Carlos Alcaraz goes head to head with compatriot Roberto Bautista Agut in an all-Spanish semi-final clash at the Queen’s Club Championship.

World number two Alcaraz has won a career-best 16 successive matches, following victories over Adam Walton, Jaume Munar and Arthur Rinderknech this week.

The Spaniard is now aiming to record his 250th match win, which would see him become the third-fastest player to reach the milestone after John McEnroe and Jimmy Connors.

Meanwhile, at 37 years and two months, opponent Bautista Agut is looking to become the second-oldest men’s finalist at Queen’s Club in the Open Era.

The world number 51 survived match point against Nuno Borges in the opening round, before defeating world number 17 Jakub Mensik and fourth seed Holger Rune in the quarter-finals.

A showdown with either Jack Draper or Jiri Lehecka awaits the winner of this clash in Sunday’s final.

The match gets under way at around 2.30pm BST on Saturday and will be contested over the best of three sets in the Andy Murray Arena.
