Jack Draper can secure his Wimbledon top-four seeding with victory over Brandon Nakashima in their quarter-final clash at Queen’s Club.
The British number one is gearing up for a crucial showdown ahead of the grass-court major, where he could potentially avoid the likes of Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz until the semi-finals.
To do that, Draper will need to secure his first appearance in the last four at Queen’s Club, where he has joined Tim Henman (seven), Andy Murray (six) and Greg Rusedski (three) as the home favourites to reach at least three or more quarter-finals.
The Indian Wells champion has done so by defeating Jenson Brooksby 6-3, 6-1, and battling past Alexei Popyrin a third-set tie-break 3-6, 6-2, 7-6(5) to progress to the last eight for a fifth time in an ATP event this term.
Meanwhile, Nakashima is looking to claim back-to-back British scalps, having overcome Dan Evans in the second round.
A semi-finalist in Acapulco this term, the American is appearing in successive quarter-finals, after matching his run to the same stage in Stuttgart last week.
The match will be contested over the best of three sets in the Andy Murray Arena on Friday.

After beating Alcaraz here 12 months ago, second seed Draper looks to remain on the collision course to face the Spaniard once more in this year’s final.
The Briton holds an impressive 27-3 record against players ranked outside the top 20 since October last year.
Not only that, the 23-year-old is also 20-1 after winning the first set this season, so his opponent will likely need a fast start in order to stop him.
Although, given Draper’s close call in the previous round, he can expect another tightly contested affair here.
