Jannik Sinner goes toe to toe with Daniil Medvedev is a blockbuster US Open quarter-final at Flushing Meadows on Wednesday.

Although, he now faces his sternest test yet in Medvedev, who landed his sole slam in the Big Apple three years ago.

After defeating Dusan Lajovic, Florian Marozsan, Flavio Cobolli and Nuno Borges for the loss of just a single set, he is now one win away from reaching a fourth quarter-final in five appearances.

Jack Draper or Alex de Minaur awaits the winner of this clash in the US Open semi-finals.

The match gets under way at around 2am BST (9pm local time) on Wednesday and will be contested over the best of five sets in Arthur Ashe Stadium.

As well as their status in the game, the consistency of both players also makes this a really tricky one to call.
