Playing Style & Strengths
Snigur is a right-hander with a two-handed backhand, listed at 1.73m. Grass has given her some of her best moments. She won the Wimbledon girls' title in 2019, beat Beatriz Haddad Maia in Nottingham in 2023 and reached her best Grand Slam result, the third round, at Wimbledon in 2026. Her rise this year was built step by step. She won the WTA 125 title in Oeiras before her first tour final in Prague, and only entered the top 50 for the first time after that final.
Snigur Betting Tips & Predictions
Snigur has shown she can beat seeded players early in a draw. In 2026 she beat Svitolina at Wimbledon, Paolini in Beijing and Elise Mertens in Wuhan. The elite are a different matter: Mirra Andreeva beat her 6-2, 6-2 in Beijing and Diana Shnaider 6-0, 6-4 in the first round of the US Open. She is new to this ranking level, so her record against players around the top 50 is still a small sample.
